We had a great night of Coding and Inspiration at Hour of Code! Thank you to our enthusiastic volunteers, Python training provided by Coditum, our great guest speaker Ruchir Puri, CCSD, SBMS and most importantly, our fun-loving and intrepid students and their parents!
The third annual STEM Fest was a success! More than 300 kids in grades K-12 will showcased their work. Local STEM experts also run hands-on activities.

Competing against teams from across Westchester, the team won the award for "Best New Team." Individual awards also went to several students.
The Seven Bridges PTA is pleased to be offering a new opportunity to all Seven Bridges students. A new computer science program will run on Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm for 12 weeks beginning on Thursday, March 2.
Registration is first come, first served program, and will open up on Thursday, February 16 at 7:00 pm via a link here. So stay tuned. Thanks to the generosity of our parent volunteer instructors, your Seven Bridges Program Fees, and the support of the Seven Bridges administration, this program will be free but will be limited to the first 30 students to sign up. More information will follow in the upcoming weeks. The PTA's third annual Hour of Code was bigger than ever. Three hundred students in grades K-12 registered for this introduction to computer science. Hour of Code is a world wide effort from Code.org, and organization committed to promoting computer science education in schools. Students and parent volunteers led the classes. For students interested in ongoing opportunities to learn CS, visit our list of options here. The PTA STEM Committee is hosting its third annual computer programming event on Friday, December 2nd from 7 to 9pm at Seven Bridges Middle School. Hour of Code is run by Code.org, an organization that promotes computer science education. The goal... inspire kids to learn programming, a skill relevant to a 21st century career path. The evening is open to kids of all levels of experience, from kindergarten through 12th grade.
