CHAPPAQUA TEAMS COMPETE IN First Lego League

Chappaqua has ten new FLL robotics teams! As far as we know, this is the largest number of teams in our town's history. ​FLL, or First Lego League, is a great way to get to know how to build and program EV3 and NXT lego robotics. In addition to lego robotics, there is a different theme each year that requires research and a presentation. Kids form their own teams and parents are the coaches. This is not a school related activity.

FLL Junior is for kids ages 6-9. FLL is for grades 4 to 8. There is also First Tech Challenge (FTC) and First Robotics Challenge (FRC) for high school students. It is still robotics, but much more advanced. There are competitions going on right now. You can learn more from Hudson Valley FLL.  We will do another post update on how our teams do.
