**Special opportunity for 6th, 7th and 8th graders participating in the 2020 STEM Fest!
This year, we are recruiting 7th and 8th graders interested in not only presenting their projects at the STEM FEST, but also advancing to the Tri-County Science and Technology Fair held on April 28 at White Plains High School. We are initiating a pilot program to enter STEM FESTt student projects for competition in the 2018 Tri-County Science and Technology Fair. This year, we are limiting eligibility to only 7th and 8th Grade students, weighted by: Solo projects or 2-member teams, with preference for early registrants in each of the eligible categories, and requiring attendance and participation in the STEM Fest on March 24th. Spots are limited and may fill up, so register asap! Opt-in information is in the STEM FEST registration form above.

YOUR PROJECT
- Please read the guidelines here.
- There are three suggested categories. Read below about inventions, experiments and "maker" activities. If you need help deciding what to do, try this cool tool or click here for project ideas.
- Create a trifold poster to display. This is not a competition. This will help you educate visitors if you have to step away for a few minutes. Click here to learn how.
- Parent Resources: This site has great information for parents, including a suggested timeline.
- Registration will open on 12 February. Register via CHAPPAQUA PTA TOOLKIT
- Eligible students must reside in CCSD and have family membership in the Chappaqua PTA. (CCSD students that are home-schooled or attend non-CCSD schools are eligible to participate in the STEM FEST with PTA membership) email here for more details on PTA membership: chappaquaptapresident@gmail.com
- Entry Fee: $15 per project, $5 for each presenting student.
